I once like them who search for a best friend. A person who will have a big role in your life and I try to look for you in different places I have been. Yet, moments deprive me; I guess I need more time and efforts to hunt you. Power Corrupts

"Power which love and service FIRST"

A power is a concept by the rate of doing work or producing or expanding energy. Power is just one way to keep on--but it is an important and fascinating one. In every time we exerts energy and effort, we do have power. Mainly with great power comes great responsibility as Spiderman's quotation. However, misuse of power leads us in deterioration hound to corruption.

"With great power comes great RESPONSIBILITY"

Power is good when we use it with leadership. Power is right when we use it with love. Power turns bad when we put it in our hands. power turns wrong when we use it to the weak.

In a society or community, someone holds power. Someone we trusted and we hope, who is willing to serve and not to be the boss who sit only on the job, not just to command but also to show to everybody that in his or her hands we believe that change and progress happens constantly.

 In the school premises, we have student leaders in every organization and they hold powers but that power being bestow to them is to work for best, work with equality and work with accountability and not to exploit and corrupt the trust been showed.

Student leaders’ feet should always be in the ground level and humility must be in their pockets, in times of crisis, they have medicine for preserving their values. Values that they hold on from the first place they receives the power in their respective positions.

Great leaders nowadays may really be blinded by powers, and it’s really a sad thing. But it is sadder when they already knew the truth and right yet they choose to be blinded to meet their own interests. Power is our strength. We can have everything we want because of power. However, true love cannot be acquires.

Well, we should constantly put in our minds that power is a great accountability to be use in a just and righteous way. We should portray ourselves being great leaders because if we hone it here in the university, then we can handle power more outside the school where many people needs a great leader who use power wisely, honestly and not to be corrupts.

HOME

"THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME" :)

The sun’s gleams passed through the windows and polish unto my face. The wind blows through my chilly ears and the noise outside in the four corners of the room woke me up. I am not dreaming, I was inside my room my very own room. I was back then, from how many months I was away for study. Away and staying on a rented room which I am not comfortable.

It feels so great being back on our home. Get up and knowing that someone was preparing for my breakfast, my mom. Together with a coffee on the table and a great tight hug from her just already wafted and made my day. Together was a conversation with my father as he always asked me, “How are you my son? How are your studies?” Then, giving me some advises which I loved the most. Just feeling so touched that they all cared for me and they loved me.

A tapped from my sister with a smile and a yelled from my brother “HEY!” and a kissed from my lil sister were the greetings they do. I knew they miss me so much and so, do I. I loved being with them and I miss the thunderous laughed we do, the conversation, sharing experienced and the squabbled (sometimes). All of these things happened inside the house were the things I always wanted to do and I will not be indolent to do it in my life. Things that I was use to and things that describes me of who I am.

Oh wait I forgot something, have not you seen her yet? She was white, long shiny hair and naughty puppy. Her name was Mia; she was very vivid and tough. We took good care of her almost a year. Hope you could meet her and try to throw something and I am sure she is going to get it and bring it back to you.

Ohh, (sigh) I still cannot believe I was here facing all of them. Talking to them, seeing their presence and feeling their touched.  I cannot describe how happy and amazed I am to be home. For many months, I’ve been waiting that this moment of time will come. Time that we all gonna be complete; Time that I dreamed and prayed for. How I wish that this moment would not pass-off.

Every tick of the clock I treasured the most of my break. Knowing that it will end and I will be back to the room I rented. However, chances were given to me. I should be grateful and enjoy with it. I can say that there is no place like HOME!

     

Traffic Light

It is on December 1868 when a device in British Houses in London discovers and install. It is use as warning sign at road intersections, railways and control flows of traffic that compose of special colors, colors that evoke in different emotions of human-- the Traffic Light.

A Red light symbolizes warning, 

a better choice to “STOP”.

Green light is gentle; it is because of 

fertile in nature, great option to “GO”,

And a Yellow light associated 

with warmth and happiness 

symbolizes “CAUTION”.

However, traffic light may not only use as a tool in the roads but also in our daily life. Nowadays in our life we are in a lofty of rush. We make all things to hurry through one’s leisure that we think of it is the better way. We forget to use the traffic light: the three colors that may guide us. Guide for us to know when we shall stop, to let go and to take action.  

At times in the road of life, we ignore to stop knowing that if we stop, we might spend too much time. We take the risk and overlook the trials ahead of us. However, if we stop does not mean we quit rather lose other than preparing ourselves. Prepare us and get ready for us to become a better individual.

In go signal, we tend to hold on the sad and most horrible memories that we endure. We always had a hard time for it, which lead us to despair and discouragement. Nevertheless, letting go help us to face and accept the reality. It assists us to go on and let go.

Along with, is to take action denote by the yellow light. After we stop and let go, it is the time where we should take an action. To plan with a purpose by framing our life with faith, forethought to avoid danger or harm. Every step in life shows much caution, greatly require us to be sensitive and be courageous enough to face those obstacles along the roads we take.

Life is always a long way of traffic, at times it gets on our nerves, hassle us and will lead us to the point of frustration being counting down. At all times, we look into the path straight rebuff to look up where the arrows in the railways are pointing. In him, who helps us bear the burden that we have. We just need to feel the speed of life and knowing that road-by-road there is always a traffic light that will guide us when to stop, go and take action.

Give It Your Best Shot

I am thinking that this kind of shit would no longer help me. This will just waste my time and efforts. I admit I am not good as they are. Famous and brilliant authors (bloggers as well) who are great in spelling, grammar and its usage, I almost give up on this. However, one thing keeps blocking my judgment, I can do what they can do I should always give my best shot.

I always find a hard time improving myself. I always stick to the state of mind mode that I may not cover up nor endure progress. That criticism will smash me into shame. Negatives always linger in my ears. And it feels sucks beneath my nerves. It really put me to grave but my soul keeps holding it.

As solutions, I eagerly start to read and read. Though that is not my passion but in order for me to improve then I give way. I read newspaper though it’s kinda boring. Read novels (not so thick), which strikes me to boredom. I also watch movies (English most of the time) that have sense, but depends to my interest. These simple things I do (not always) help me to my daydream, to be as BEST as I am.

Time comes that insecurities may discourage us. It will slowly exterminate our self-esteem. But we should not entertain it. I just think of it as a challenge. I know that I am not just the only person who wants to improve. Who is keen and trying to make things in order. Who is patiently waiting that one morning they would wake up face in the mirror and say ‘Wow? Things are looking up on me’.

I encountered many successful people who just started by dreaming (Joseph the dreamer). It may be your boss, the manager, the president in our state, the dean, famous authors, the rich businessperson, executives, and the leaders. However, they do not just lie down and dream what they want. They woke-up; they strive hard and make some effort to reach their dreams (the unreachable star). It always starts with an ACTION.

If you are not good in your preferred field then quitting is not the answer (It’s bullshi*) . If you quit, then you lose the game. You may have 3 strikes but it does not mean you are out. KEEP MOVING my friend. You have 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week. With that, you have a lot of time to boost your talents and skills.  Practice it with sincerity and determination.  Try and try until you succeed (not to die but to LIVE). I know you can do it.

At this point of time, I am still in the state of learning. Learning and exploring my capability. I merely need time for me to develop it. We do not need to hasten it, coz if we do then maybe we could get on the wrong track. I do it step by step. I do it slowly, right decision-making and with vision. I maybe stumble in the road I take, I may be hit, smash, crash, or bleed-out but I got one shield  and that’s HIM who leads me everywhere I do.  I can be a superstar in the Hollywood or in the NBA, I JUST NEED TO GIVE MY BEST SHOT. So do you.
